Keerthy Suresh
Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil as well as Telugu films in addition to a few Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award as Best Actress in 2018 in the role of actress Savitri, who appeared in the Telugu film Mahanati. She has also received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter of producer of film G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. The early 2000s were when she started her career as an actor. After completing her studies in fashion design, Keerthy returned to the world of film. She starred in her debut major part on screen in Geethaanjali (2013) in a Malayalam feature film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first films outside of Malayalam and signed on to appear in several Tamil film projects simultaneously. The director it was A. L. Vijay along alongside Vikram the director, that released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The movie didn't do much, but it was released. Due to her busy schedule for 2015, she could not choose but to pull out of films which she already began doing work, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. She consequently was involved in two projects in collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the leading part on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari along with Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. In 2015 the movie was delayed. Reports suggest that Janakitho Nenu will release in September 2020. Nenu Sailaja (2016), featuring Ram Pothineni as the actor was the debut film of Keerthy's. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) opposite actor Vijay. In 2017, she also appeared in Tamil films Paambhu sattai and Telugu film Nenu Local.
